Working as a Virtual Team

With COVID-19, our team progress had to come to a halt as we sorted to figure out our next steps.

Most of what was left to do with the 2020 RoboSub vehicle was assembly,integration, and testing, which was not possible with the reduced access to campus. Even if we had a fully assembled vehicle, we would not be able to test it for underwater operations due to social distancing guidelines. However, we instead focused on refining our design for our competition report through having virtual meetings with our Leads.

Looking forward, our leadership team has been working hard and meeting regularly to plan out how Fall 2020 activities will look like. We are excited for what we've been planning, and hope that it can provide a learning environment for real-world engineering applications from a distance.
